People works for Turbine and Turbine its self just circle around the problem and keep saying “we can not do that”. Last night a portal storm sends me out of somewhere (probably no one can find that place) and almost killed me, 23 of 200 health left when i hit the ground. But my fellow wasn’t that lucky and died, thank god i didnt get killed so could send the coord. to him. He contacted about this situation with an emergancy, but when i saw their chat log, I really get annoyed.
This man is just asking for fixing to be get killed by portaling to somewhere in space and fall down to gorund. He doens’t complain the death or finding the corpse issue (he already got that), he doesn’t complain the lag or portal storm. He only says that, if there will be a portal storm it should send people to a safe place that u can survive. Death is really a naturel thing in this game, me and my friends knows that well, but let me ask you something, is the portal storm (the server can’t handle those amount of people) natural enough to send people somewhere between the top and the base of a high mountain so you will fall and take impact damage more then your health so you will die, is that you call natural death. There will be another possibility that you may not take your corpse even if you see it and know the exect coord. just because it is somewhere unreachable.
So that means, The server and the program is not powerfull enough to handle the amount of people so it creates a portal storm, and the programmers are not good enough to make that portal storm safe and the Idea creaters has not enough imagine to solve the population of that crowded areas, there are many places that no one visits (ghost towns) like al-arqas, khayyaban, Rithwic.
The sad thing is these people (working with Turbine or in Turbine) are so focused to the death and lost corpse requests so they can’t listen and see the actual question, and repeat answering for any question that includes Death and Corpse words “We can not help you to find your corpse or retrive your corpse”. Please listen what people says or asks.
By the way what are the advocates and sentinals usefull for, only sentinals portal you out if you stack somewhere and can’t get out, what else they will do except to force people to finish the event like the crystal in Thistledown. I don’t see any point that any advocate is being in the game. maybe when the game first came out they were usefull, but now any new player can ask to public for curtain information, im sure there will be a dozen player to answer his/her question. Besides there isn’t always an advocate around.
